Brad Curtis 2/23/09 Class

Oh, look at the bowl. It's not a grinder, but an instrument (although someone did mention it as a possible sex tool). AAAHHHH! Final projects. Actually, I don’t freak out like that. I just take some time to do it and then it’s over. My idea actually came about right before we did the group talk. Although the hour we had was definitely way tooooo long! I’ve had an anime idea for a long time with my own style for it. When thinking about it, I here and there take my characters and apply it to various scenes I like from usually my 5 favorite anime. I decided I could storyboard one scene from an anime and do it in my own style.

Brad Curtis The Best Assignment So Far

Ah, what a great 3 hours of homework. Probably one of the best things I have ever done. I mean, to take 3 hours and do what makes me the happiest. I decided to go with my favorite thing to do and that is to play a video game. This easily took up 3 hours and I actually spent some more time playing as between work, school, and 2 school clubs, I don’t have a lot of free time. I did have my anger moments here and there, but those were minor and I really did enjoy myself. If only more assignments were like this!

As for my final project, I suggest having everybody doing something they normally don’t do. For me, I normally sit around in my room playing video games, and watching anime and movies with doing homework at times. I could do something like jog around the block for a set time for a week or so. This would allow me to do something I really don’t do at all!

Brad Curtis 2/16/09 Class

Man, what a class. Sitting there in a seat listening to people talk. Oh wait, that did happen, except it was in my room watching some anime. From time to time, I paused the show and thought what I would do. Then I eventually came up with something. I’ll do something I like to do. That would be playing video games and watching anime and movies. I decided to just do playing a game since that can easily take up 3 hours and put my mind at peace. Even though I might get pissed off at this and that, I’m still at peace and doing 1 of the 3 things I like best. I don’t have to worry about homework or work. I’m just in my little world in my room. So, now for the easy part, do it!

Brad Curtis Bag(s)

Oh baggy, oh baggy. Well, mine fell within something I did on Thursday and Friday. That would be shopping. To clarify what I shopped for since I don’t like to do it that often, I shopped for anime at Best Buy. As I was paying for them, guess what they got put into. Oh my, it was a plastic bag. Who would have guessed? Anyways, this helped me carry my stuff from the store to my car and then from the car to my room. There were actually 2 bags involved, one for each day. There wasn’t a whole lot of time spent with each of them, but did stick around in my room as I went through each disc making sure they worked. Since there were no problems, they were then thrown away. As for music, it was partially windy on both days I went, so the bag was moving a tiny bit while I was carrying it. They have that crunchy sound. In total, there was about 20 seconds involved both days carrying my stuff, so there’s my music. Despite it being short, no one said music had to be a certain length.

Brad Curtis 2/9/09 Class

Look at the pretty little bag. That definitely happened when I put it over my head and could barely see anything. The music was calm and relaxing. Different from the usual stuff I like to listen to and nice to see what other artists were doing (I don’t recall hearing her name before). The movie was pretty interesting. It was interesting to see what different ways are used to make music. Some of them I never thought of before. As for the ending of the movie, I’ll probably never see it as it wasn’t the type of movie I would like to see again and own. The next class definitely remembered what we did last week as we walked out from class at the end to go to wherever. My take on the “what if” scenario if she did slapped her kid or some other bad thing was it wasn’t our fault. She shouldn’t let it bug her that much and just move on with life. I wouldn’t feel the least bit responsible.

Brad Curtis No Help

Honestly, I feel we don’t need to make it up this time around. That class probably doesn’t realize what are class is all about. It is seeing things in a different way, hence Seeing Sideways. I know it was probably a real pain having to fix that, but that is the only time we have done. Now, if we did it again, then yes, I would say we would need to make it up to them. But since this was the first (and probably the only time giving the reaction), I say no. I’m not trying to be mean, but I keep pointing to what the class is about. And no, I don’t count the circle thing at all because that is something very simple and can easily be fixed, plus, we use it for our class. If we did it again, I say we can make it up by undoing our circle at the end of class. Also, I don’t know about the specifics about this, but they could possibly meet in another room if even the circle thing is pisses them off.

I can understand that bad feeling. Something pisses them off and then they are in a bad mood the rest of the day. This in turn could possibly piss someone else off as they could interact in some way with that pissed off person. If great enough, then the cycle could continue. Everybody is different, so certain things could have different effects. As for being responsible, it can be a yes and no situation. Sometimes we inadvertently do something that someone doesn’t like, even if we don’t realize it. This would be more of a no situation since that person didn’t do it on purpose and didn’t know.

Brad Curtis I Can't Taste My Favorite Things & Sensing

Oh man. Taking away taste was not fun, especially on the day I did it. Usually we get pizza on Thursday. I normally get a P-Zone and a stuff crust pizza. Well guess when I did my no taste. Yep! On Thursday. And you can probably guess when I did my 3 hours. Yep. When we got pizza. So there I am watching some anime eating the P-Zone and drinking some soda. All’s good, except for the fact I can’t taste anything. (Note: every time I drank and ate, I held my nose. It takes away taste for me) It really sucked to know that I’m eating and drinking some of my favorite things and can’t taste them. Uhg! What a pain! At least I had some pizza leftover to enjoy with taste the next day.

As for my 6th sense, I would make it be a sensing ability. Basically a person could sense someone’s basic energy and be able to tell where they were at and get an idea what they were doing based on how much energy they have and/or how fast it is dropping. In a way, it would allow a person to sense who is around them and avoid surprises.

Brad Curtis 2/2/09 Class

Create. Creation. Cre..................
Yeah. So many variations of just one word. At least it isn't stuck in my head (or so I think anyway). The creat, innova, inqui (good thing this isn't Word or I'd get red lines) ideas made sense to me. I've actually used them a little in some other classes. Class reminded me of other times when a simple conversation about something can turn into a huge thing when bringing in various topics. The pictures were nice to see what other people think of and do. The refigerator story was funny and interesting at the same time (oh my!).

Waygooz!!!!

(There would be 2 pictures here, but I don't know how to get them into the blog. If someone tells me how, I'll put them here.)
